Our Cleaning Process:
Sam's Inc. has spent many years developing a system for cleaning the
oriental type of rugs/carpets.
Due to the fact that some carpets are hand made and the dyes used are
not stable we do all cleaning in our plant and never on site.
The carpet is vacuumed with a beater bar type of vacuum with a soft nylon
brush on the beater bar, permitting the fibers to be groomed and to establish
the grain of the fibers. This process removes 95% of the loose soil.
Spots are treated with an appropriate spotting solution with the solution
maintaining a cleaning action while holding the PH as close to 7 as possible.
Fibers are then treated with a cleaning solution mixed with filtered water to
reduce chances of yellowing of the fibers. This is applied in the form of a mist
that reflects the same image as steam being blown into the fibers.
Once it appears that all soil is removed the carpet is treated with a deodorizer
consisting of aromatic hydrocarbons which will attack any bacteria that is left in
the carpet to create an order.
The carpet is then dried and left with an ozone machine running to further
extract and removed odor causing bacteria.
Due to the many different fibers on the market price quotes
can only be given by viewing the carpet and in some cases
testing the fibers to see what has been used to make the rug/carpet.
